Baby sexing - increasing the odds (maybe)

Please note that I am merely passing along some received information in this article but, that said, I have anecdotally heard from more than one or two people how doing one or more of the following steps have given them their desired result which, by the way, for women generally seems to be to get a girl and you can make of that what you will!

I do want to make the point that, human nature being what it is, people are happy to share and they very much like to talk about the things they do that work successfully for them. On the other hand we instinctively tend to hide our mistakes, failures and miss-directions! So you have to be aware that when 10 people say something worked there could well be another 10 who also tried it who would say it didn’t, but don’t.

However it does all actually make some kind of vague scientific sense from the fact that male sperm do survive an alkaline environment better whereas female sperm like an acidic environment. Likewise male sperm don’t live as long as female sperm so the reasons to have sex before rather than after ovulation for one or the other have some validity. Lastly the swimming strength appears to vary for male and female sperm hence the ideas about positions which in this case relate to speed rather than longevity...

FOR A FEMALE BABY

  • A douche of 15—20 ml white vinegar in 500 ml of cooled boiled water is used 10—15 minutes before coitus.
  • Frequent coitus is performed in the 7—10 days before ovulation.
  • The last coitus should be at least 24 hours, and preferably more, before ovulation is expected to occur, and abstinence should then be practiced for at least a week.
  • Intercourse should be face-to-face, and the ejaculate should be deposited low in the vagina, preferably just inside the introitus.
  • Intercourse should cease with ejaculation.
  • Female orgasm should not occur.

FOR A MALE BABY

  • A douche of 5 g of baking soda in 500 ml of cooled boiled water is used before intercourse.
  • Abstinence should be practiced from the end of menstruation until after ovulation has occurred.
  • Vaginal penetration should be from the rear, so that ejaculation will occur high in the vaginal vault, and preferably against the cervix. The man should have deep penetration at the moment of ejaculation.
  • Intercourse should cease with ejaculation.
  • Female orgasm should occur just before ejaculation.
  • The procedure should be repeated two or three times in the next 24—48 hours

Personal Comment: Wait until your birthday to open your presents!

Whatever else you do, I strongly recommend that you don’t find out the sex of your baby before it is born. As much as you might feel you just have to know it is truly so much better to wait because everyone, including yourselves, will be excited and anticipating the great mystery of finding out what you got! It is the greatest unwrapping of the greatest present in our lives, hence the reason we celebrate it every year for the rest of our lives with other kinds of presents!

On the other hand I have long noticed that if people already know the sex of their baby beforehand then they and their families and friends tend to get preoccupied with all the worries of birth and babyhood and lose a lot of the excitement. Pregnancy is a long journey and it has times when it can be quite arduous. I strongly recommend you keep the bubble of the 'not-knowing' excitement alive as it will be like a light in the distance, slowly coming closer day by day...

Speaking for myself my twins Danielle and Ben were born in 1990 so I guess some people like to have a bet both ways!
